Coach Zdeněk Ščasný has parted ways with Sparta, following a 0-2 loss in the Prague derby.
The coach had joined the team in April 2015 and led the team in its successful Europa League campaign last season. Assistant coaches Stanislav Hejkal, David Holoubek and Zdeněk Svoboda are now in charge of leading the first team on the interim basis.
Zdeněk Ščasný arrived at the GENERALI Arena on Monday morning, however, he didn’t lead the team in the training session anymore, having agreed on ending his spell at Sparta earlier that day.
Sparta board is currently focusing on choosing the new manager. The team continues preparations for the upcoming Europa League fixture against Internazionale and the league match in Brno on the weekend. International break then follows.
