Milan Heča started in our goal, Hancko and Lischka joined as centre-backs and Benjamin Tetteh at the top of the attack.
The first interesting situation was seen after ten minutes. Tetteh tried to get to the box from the left side. He fell down after contact with one of the defenders. The referee said no foul. Two minutes later on the other side Traustason tried it from a distance. Heča caught his attempt without a problem.
There were several sharp tackles from the players in blue. After one of them Dočkal crossed from a free kick to the box. Ladislav Krejčí jumped on the ball, but didn’t hit it.
The first serious chance took place in the 22nd minute. Thelin was alone face-to-face Milan Heča but missed a goal. Shortly after that, Bořek Dočkal was angry because referee didn’t order a penalty after tackle on him. It was also no foul after sharp tackle on Adam Hložek in front of the box.
We were probably closest to the goal in the first half after Adam Hložek’s shot from 28th minute. The 17-year-old midfielder fired from a distance and his attempt missed the left post. A moment later Rakip tried it. No danger for Heča. The last interesting moment in the first half was Kanga's shot, which went just outside.
After 52 minutes, we saw a fantastic save by Milan Heča after Traustason’s shot from the distance. Seven minutes later Tetteh sent the ball near the goal line and Adam Hložek not get to the ball. After an hour of play, Malmö was in the lead when Antonsson extended Safari's cross just before Heča into the net.
Hložek could equalize in the 74th minute but Nilsson stopped his shot! But it was even worse. This time the referee ordered a penalty for Malmö and shown a yellow card to protesting captain Dočkal. Berget scored from the spot and Malmö led by two goals. Then, head coach Jílek substituted six players.
Martin Frýdek had another chance at the end. But his shot didn’t end behind Nilsson. Sparta lost to Malmö 0-2.
