Sparta played another friendly game in Spanish Marbella as a part of the winter pre-season. After the winning match against Rostov a few days ago, Spartans met with another team from the Russian highest league, Lokomotiv Moscow. Sparta had a great chance to open the score, but Hancko missed the penalty kick. On the other side, Lokomotiv used their chances while Kuchta scored twice. Spartans made a comeback in the second half when LK37 and Čvančara scored within 4 minutes. However, Kerk scored a winning goal five minutes before the end of the match and Sparta lost for the first time in the winter pre-season.
Sparta's head coach, Pavel Vrba, made three changes in the line-up in comparison to the game against Rostov. Defenders Wiesner and Vitík were replaced by Gabriel and Panák. Besides that, Pavelka appeared in the starting eleven instead of Dočkal.
Sparta had a great opportunity to open the score after 8 minutes when Gabriel was fouled by Rybus in the penalty area. However, Hancko was not successful from the following penalty kick. His shot only hit the right post.
Lokomotiv performed a fast action in the 12th minute while the long pass found Kuchta behind the defensive line and he scored by the first touch. Holec without any chance to save it, 0-1.
Spartans wanted to answer as soon as possible. LK37 had a dangerous header from the corner kick two minutes later, but the ball went tightly above the crossbar.
The score changed again in the 29th minute when Holec did not keep the ball and Kuchta scored to the empty goal, 0-2.
The Russian team had another good opportunity one minute later. Isidor went alone to Holec, who showed a good save and did not let him score.
A header from LK37 did not cause bigger troubles to Chudjakov in the 37th minute.
Holec had to be careful while he made two saves in the next few minutes. Isidor and Barinov were initiators of these attacks. That was all that happened in the first half.
Pavel Vrba made five changes during the half time. Laco Krejčí, Vitík, Dočkal, Sáček and Minčev came in.
Dočkal immediately drew attention to himself at the beginning of the second part of the match. Unfortunately, his shot did not finish behind Chudjakov's back.
Active Isidor with another attempt in the 57th minute, Holec hat to tackle this ball.
Dočkal sent a great ball from the free kick in the 61st minute while he found LK37 who easily scored in front of Moscow's goalkeeper, 1-2.
Sparta tied the score four minutes later. Dočkal found Čvančara whose shot went through all defenders standing in the goal while Chudjakov was out of it, 2-2.
Čvančara could have added his second goal in the 71st minute after a mistake in Lokomotiv's defense. His attempt above the goalkeeper went only to the right post. Such a pity.
