The match ended in a 2:2 draw
After the international break, we returned to the league with a victory in the Match of Honor against Slovan Liberec. The goals were scored by Tomáš Wiesner and Lukáš Haraslín, with Haraslín securing the win shortly after coming on as a substitute.
We took the lead early in the match. Matěj Ryneš made a great move down the left side, exchanged passes with Indrit Tuci, and delivered a perfect cross to the far post, where Tomáš Wiesner was waiting. He calmly headed the ball past Bačkovský. The rest of the first half didn’t offer many chances, although we could have extended the lead in the 18th minute after another solo effort from the lively Ryneš. This time, however, Slovan’s goalkeeper made the save.
The second half began with several substitutions. In the 63rd minute, after a set piece, the ball found its way to Purzitidis, who leveled the score with a powerful low shot. About fifteen minutes later, Suchomel delivered a pinpoint through ball to Haraslín, who slotted it into the net from close range. The combination of the substitutes led to the decisive goal, with the Slovak winger scoring just minutes after coming on. From the Match of Honor, we take home another three points in the table.
