We played in Jablonec for the first time since the second round of last season. Head coach Václav Jílek sent almost the same line-up to the pitch as a week earlier in Opava, with only one change. Krejčí replaced booked Kanga.
We took the lead in the fourth minute. Martin Hašek passed to Kozák. Assistant referee saw an offside, but VAR revised his verdict.
In the 18th minute we had a double lead. Krejčí sent the ball to the captain on the left wing. Frýdek pushed the ball on his right foot and fired, his shot went beautifully under the bar!
For the first time, the home team seriously threatened after more than half an hour. Břečka headed after a corner. Milan Heča was on the right place and hit the ball.
Home coach Rada made two changes for the second half. Matoušek and Chramosta went to the pitch to support the offensive.
Unfortunately, immediately after the pause came a big mistake and home goal. Spartans didn’t kick the ball away from the box and Matoušek punished us.
The home team then pushed Sparta and created several interesting and promising positions. But they could not strike.
Unfortunately, when it seemed that the pressure of the home is gone, the second goal came. The home action started in the middle of the field, then Jablonec went to the left side and home action finished by Chramosta equalizer.
Noting more happened and we tied 2-2 in Jablonec.
