In some matches, especially in UEFA competitions, we felt that we lacked more speed - and Ermal will help us in this regard," explains the first arrival before the 2024/2025 season, sporting director of AC Sparta Praha Tomáš Rosický. "He is used to playing on several positions in the offensive part. He is also dangerous for opponents because he knows how to score and prepare a goal."
Ermal's senior football debut dates back to the 2018/2019 season, when the 18-year-old made ten starts for K.F. Ferizaj, immediately making his presence known by scoring six goals.
His successful start earned him a move to a more prestigious club, FC Ballkani, in the summer of 2019. At the three-time Kosovo champions, Krasniqi quickly settled in and spent four seasons, during which he appeared in 105 games, scoring 39 goals and adding 17 assists.

In eleven Conference League games, the 188 cm tall footballer earned eight points for FC Ballkani, registering the same number of goals and assists, which put him on the radar of foreign clubs.
After three and a half years with FC Ballkani, Ermal sought new challenges abroad. In the winter of 2023, he signed with Romanian club Cluj. However, following a coaching change in the summer, Krasniqi found himself out of the starting lineup. Seeking a fresh opportunity, he joined Rapid Bucharest, where he continued to impress with six goals and three assists in just half a season.
Now, Ermal Krasniqi will bring his talents to Sparta, where we are confident he will create many beautiful moments.
