Indrit Tuci comes from the Albanian seaside town of Lezhë, where he took his first football steps at the local Brian's football academy. They led him to the Croatian capital, where Lokomotiv Zagreb scouted him at the age of eighteen.
The tall forward spent the first season in the under-19 team, the next he became a permanent part of the A-team of the Croatian club, which has a steam locomotive in its logo. Since then, he has played 104 competitive games for the club, scoring 21 goals and providing eight assists.
In the 2022/23 season, he scored six goals in 30 league matches. He added the same number of accurate shots in the current year but needed only 17 games. For example, he scored in the derby against Dinamo Zagreb, through which we advanced to the basic group in the 4th preliminary round of the Europa League.
The 23-year-old Albanian comes to Letná as the second-best scorer in the Croatian top league, in which he was one of the most frequently finished players. In 17 matches, he sent 42 shooting attempts at the opponent's goal, six times finishing with his head. He scored six times in the autumn, with an Expected Goals (xG) value of 5.42. He had 62 touches in the opponent's box, in which only four players in the Croatian league were statistically more successful. Tuci was also the third player with the most aerial challenges (103).
He also played seven matches for the Albanian under-21 national team. In March 2022, he started in a mutual qualifying match against the Czech U21, in which the Czechs won 1:0. Tuci met, for example, Martin Vitík, Kryštof Daňek or Václav Sejk on the pitch.
We wish you the best of luck, Indrit!
