Still unbeaten in the Gambrinus liga, Sparta hosted FC Baník Ostrava at the GENERALI Arena. Own goal by Costa gave the lead to Banik after 26 minute but Sparta won thanks to two goals by Josef Hušbauer and one by Costa and Konaté.
Sparta was missing Ondřej Švejdík due to injury so Jakub Brabec made his first league apperance in this season. Roman Bednář was in the starting lineup firstly too.
After a first couple of chances it was the Baník to open the score. Costa scored own goal after fast counter attack by Ostrava in the 26th minute. Josef Hušbauer evened the score in the 37th minute after accurate pas by Bořek Dočkal.
Another big chances came in the second half and Sparta took the lead in the 64th minute after quickly shot by Costa Nhamoinesu in the box – 2:1! Josef Hušbauer scored his second about two minutes later with great shot from twenty five yards.
Fourth goal Sparta scored in the last minute thanks to great individual effort of Tiémoko Konaté. Young midfielder tricked a defender in the box and scored with hard shot. That was first league goal for him. Sparta scored four goals again!
