Sparta manager Andrea Stramaccioni has announced his coaching squad for the upcoming season, it consists of five nationalities.
Leonidas Vokolos becomes the technical manager. Vokolos is a former Greek player, who had played for PAOK and Panathinaikos among others and also had made seven appearances for the Greek national team. 46 years old Vokolos was a Greek youth national team manager and also an assistant coach of Fernando Santos in the Greek national team. Vokolos had previously worked as a technical manager for Panathinaikos.
Miroslav Baranek remains as a team manager.
Andrea Stramaccioni will have three assistant coaches available, as Radek Kováč is joined by Italians Roberto Muzzi and Omar Danesi.
45 years old Muzzi has had a rich player career, having played for Lazio or AS Roma among others. He had made 449 Seria A appearances and scored 129 goals. Muzzi was Italian youth national team player and played at the Olympic Games. He started his coaching career in AS Roma youth teams and was also the first team’s assistant coach in 2013. He had previously worked as Stramaccioni’s assistant in Panathinaikos.
Omar Danesi was a successful youth coach in AS Roma and AC Milan, before moving to Panathinaikos to work with Stramaccioni as his assistant coach.
Daniel Zítka, a goalkeeper coach, is joined by Mario Galinović from Croatia. Former national team player had the best years of his career in Panathinaikos and had played against Sparta in the Champions League qualification in the 2009-2010 season.
Federico Pannoncini becomes the head fitness coach. Has experience from Internazionale, whe he had cooperated with Stramaccioni both on youth and senior level. Pannoncini will be cooperating with two fitness coaches – Tomáš Malý and Stefano Campari.
The medical squad stays unchanged, as Miroslav Sinkule, Marek Žižka and Štefan Dojcsan well keep overlooking the medical condition of the first team players.
Lukáš Marešovský remains as the team physio, and will be cooperating with two masseurs – Kamil Maixner and Tomáš Havránek, who joins the team from Strahov youth academy.
Vincenzo Sasso, the team analyst, joins the team to cooperate with current video analyst Roman Hlaváč.
Miroslav Kaftan and Tomáš Majer remain team kitmen.
