From Opava with three points

Sparta gained three more points to the league table! We take them in Opava, where we won 1-0 in a difficult match. The only goal of the match scored by Andreas Vindheim at the beginning of the match. It was his first goal in a red jersey!

Head coach Václav Jílek sent almost the same line-up to the pitch like to the last league game with Bohemians. Only one name was different - Andreas Vindheim. He replaced David Moberg Karlsson. Andreas already tried the position of a right wingman in the cup match against České Budějovice.

The first sign chance came in the sixth minute. Kozák dropped the ball to Hašek, who had enough space on the right and crossed in front of the goal. Vindheim headed, but was close to defenders and didn’t get the ball to the net.

In the tenth minute we went to the lead. Kanga beautifully passed to Vindheim, who went from the right side to the goalkeeper Fendrich. Andreas could pass, but preferred to finish and did well. He sent the ball near the post and scored his first goal in Sparta!

After half an hour Sáček tried an interesting shot. It was after the corner when the ball bounced in front of the box and Sáček shot hard under the crossbar. But Fendrich bounced of.

Sparta had another opportunity to raise the score. Frýdek passed from the left to Vindheim and he pushed to Kozák. Libor finished, but the ball went out.

Five minutes before the break, home team was not far from the goal. Zavadil placed a free kick from 25 meters. His shot went to the lower corner of Heča's goal but Spartan goalkeeper jumped and bounced the ball off.

Martin Hašek was close to score in the 50^th minute. Vindheim crossed to Hašek which sent a sharp attempt over the crossbar.

Two minutes later, this time after the cross of Sáček, the ball in the box found Kanga’s head. But the ball went to Fendrich.

Then came the passage where the home team controlled the game. But the Spartan defence did not let them score. Zavadil had a free kick from outside the box. Luckily, he just missed the goal.

In the 74^th minute we had a chance to the second goal. Vindheim run on the right side, just as before, when he scored. But this time the home goalkeeper caught him.

Another chance had Hložek after minutes. He prepared the ball for the technical shot. Twisted attempt flew over the crossbar.

Three minutes before the end, we played a free kick near the corner flag. Hašek got a short pass and fired over the goal.

Nothing more happened in the match and Sparta won 1-0.
