Sparta started with a 4-5-1 formation. Filip Souček, Michal Trávník or Libor Kozák returned to the line-up. On the other hand, Lukáš Juliš was on the bench. Štetina, Hložek, Vindheim, Pavelka, Minchev were injured. Sáček injured during the warm-up. LK37 was out due to 4 yellow cards.
Shock came in the 7th minute. Čelůstka made a mistake in the box after cross from the left. Papadopoulos was ready and opened a score.
After twenty minutes, Wiesner got to the box, lost the ball, but the referee whistled a foul in front of the box. David Moberg Karlsson played a free kick and equalized by the shot to the left down corner!
Seven minutes later, Laco Krejčí got Souček's long pass and headed with his batman mask (he’s got a face fracture). Then Bolek hit him hard but the ball ended in the net – 1-1.
But it was levelled again in the 32nd minute. Herc fired on the box line and it was a goal.
Four minutes before the break, Filip Souček passed to and he chopped Bolek. So Sparta were in the 3-2 lead after the half-time.
Souček could crown a good performance by the first league goal in Sparta in the 58th minute. However, he slipped slightly on a small box and missed the left bar by his left foot.
In the 69th minute, Trávník got the ball, passed to Bořek Dočkal he sent Karlsson to the goal. And David scored a hattrick!
A moment later, Trávník fouled Herc and referee Marek sent him off after seeing a video.
In the 84th minute Papadopulos scored his second goal. Sparta didn’t let Karviná equalize and won 4-3.
