In 1906, Sparta's history became forever linked with Londo and more specifically, with Arsenal. Club official Dr. Otakar Petřík was inspired by the Gunners during a visit to England and brought a set of red shirts back to Prague. Since then, red has become an inseparable part of Sparta's identity. As a tribute to this historic connection, the launch video for the new home kit was filmed in London.

The design of the new jersey symbolically connects the club's past with its present. Dark stripes rise from the bottom of the shirt, representing Sparta's original black kits, before gradually transforming into the club's signature red across the chest. In this way, the jersey tells the story of Sparta's journey from its foundation in 1893 to the present day. From its origins to the identity it proudly carries today.
The front of the shirt features the traditional Sparta "S" topped by three stars alongside adidas' iconic three stripes. On the back of the collar, supporters will find a raised 3D "Sparta" wordmark, a subtle detail every Spartan sees when putting the jersey on and proudly carries on their back.
Another new feature for the 2026/27 season is an exclusive custom typeface for names and numbers. At first glance, the design appears clean and understated, but a closer look reveals hidden club details. A Sparta crest is incorporated into the lower section of every digit, while the entire font is built around a repeating "Sparta" pattern.
As expected, adidas' Climacool technology ensures outstanding comfort and breathability, whether on the pitch or in everyday wear.
The home kit is completed by white shorts with black detailing, once again referencing the club's historic colours and creating a balanced look alongside the jersey. The collection also includes alternative black-and-red shorts and a new supporters' scarf that brings together the two defining colours of Sparta's history.
The new home jersey is now available in limited quantities at all Sparta Fanshop stores, where supporters can purchase it immediately and have it personalised in Fanlab with their own name and number while they wait. Online sales have also begun through a pre-order system. Jerseys without custom printing will begin shipping on 14 July, while personalised orders will be dispatched from 17 July.
The 2026/27 home collection is more than just a new match kit. It is a tribute to the moment, 120 years ago, that shaped Sparta's identity for generations to come.
