First Team Squad for Training Camp

Sparta will play three pre-season matches during the training camp in Grassau. On Saturday, 11 July, at 3:00 p.m., the team will face Gamba Osaka at the Sportzentrum Anif. Two more fixtures will follow before the squad returns home: Jagiellonia Białystok on Thursday, 16 July, and FC Nordsjælland the following day. All three matches will be streamed live on UNLIMITED.

Joining the squad are new summer signings. Goalkeeper Krisztián Hegyi, defender Viktor Vitályos and midfielder Ebrima Singhateh all made their first appearances in our jersey against Opava. Costa Rican international Josimar Alcócer, who completed his move to Letná only on Saturday, is also part of the squad. Jan Kuchta, Hugo Sochůrek and Jaroslav Zelený will join the team on Thursday, 10 July, following their participation in the FIFA World Cup.

Also included in the squad are several promising talents from Sparta’s B-team. Lewis Azaka, Lukáš Moudrý, Sebastian Pech and Sebastián Zajac already experienced a first-team training camp earlier this year in Marbella. Ondřej Penxa will continue his rehabilitation in Grassau after suffering a serious injury during the winter training camp. For Maxim Kotíšek, meanwhile, it will be his first experience with the first team.

Veljko Birmančević, Elias Cobbaut, Imanol García de Albéniz and Indrit Tuci did not travel with the squad to the training camp. The four players have been given permission to explore transfer opportunities. Kaan Kairinen and Albion Rrahmani are also absent, with the club currently in negotiations over their potential transfers.

Several changes have taken place within the squad in recent weeks. Kryštof Daněk (LASK) and Ermal Krasniqi (Amedspor) are no longer Sparta players. Forward Kevin-Prince Milla has joined FK Jablonec on loan, while goalkeeper Vojtěch Vorel's contract has expired.
