In the last league home match of 2014, Sparta destroyed Dynamo with four goals. Czech internationals Dočkal and Lafata both scored twice.
Even though Josef Hušbauer returned to the line-up last Tuesday in Příbram (and was in the starting eleven this time as well), seven other players were on the injury list – Bičík, Vácha, Breznaník, Koanté, Juliš, Bednář a Nešpor.
Seven injured players were not a problem for Sparta on Saturday night, as they were dominating since the kick-off. Kadeřábek fired wide in the first chance, only two minutes into the game.
The presser continued, ale nearly every midfielder had a great chance – efforts by Krejčí and Hušbauer were solved by the away side’s goalkeeper Křížek, while Dočkal and Mareček could not hit the net.
Finally, after 28 minutes of play, Krejčí crossed the ball from the left and Lafata opened the score with a header.
Sparta finally started to convert their chances in the second half. After only 3 minutes of play, Bořek Dočkal tipped the ball over Křížek after a brilliant lob by Matějovský.
After another couple of minutes, Krejčí and Lafata repeated their play from the first half and the captain scored his second of the night with a header again.
Finally, in the 62nd minute, it was Lafata to cross the ball this time and Bořek Dočkal set the final score.
