Defeat 0-1 in Plzeň

The coach Václav Jílek returned Srdjan Plavšić to the line-up after derby. Hašek moved to the middle of the field and Martin Frýdek started on the left side of the defence. Mandjeck couldn’t play because of injury and Benjamin Tetteh was punished after a red card in derby.

The home team threaten first in the second minute. Kovařík crossed to the box, Procházka and the ball went out of the goal.

There were no chances in the next part of the game. Sparta had two free kicks from a long distance but without a result. Home team had a chance after Kovařík’s then cross to Kopic. But he missed.

After half an hour, Michal Sáček made an offensive action and went through the centre of home defence. When he was almost in front of Hruška, Limberský stopped him and the action was without a shot.

A few minutes later, Sparta shot. Kanga got a hard cross and fired to the post. Heča was ready. And in another chance in a minute! This time Hašek crossed from the left and falling Hložek ended by header but missed.

Sparta managed the first half quite sympathetically. However at the beginning of the second half came disaster. David Lischka wanted to pass to Heča immediately but he did it very badly. Krmenčík was in front of the goal and did not hesitate. Sparta tried to answer and was active. Plavšić tried it in the 53^rd minute and overshoot.

In the 70^th minute the home team celebrated goal by Krmenčík for two minutes. But he fouled Lischka before the goal and VAR revoked the goal.

A quarter of an hour before the end, Kanga tried from thirty-five meters but he missed the goal.

In the 85^th minute Plzeň had a great chance to increase the score. After Kovařík's pass, Chorý ended and Heča saved perfectly.

At the end Sparta did not have a chance and we leave Pilsen without a point.
