Sparta, missing three defenders from the starting line-up, played a dramatic match in Jablonec and at the end, they got a single point for a goalless draw.
As Brabec and Costa saw their fourth yellow card last week and Kadeřábek got injured, Kováč, Podaný and Mareček got their chance in the starting line-up.
The home side started with a huge chance, when Pospíšil already beat Štěch, but Lukáš Vácha kicked his shot out from the goal line.
Václav Kadlec missed in Sparta’s biggest chance of the first half, when he fired above the crossbar from a breakaway.
It was Jablonec again to create the first big chance of the second half, as Novák’s deflected shot went inches wide.
Crnkić then dodged a couple of Sparta players in the centre field, but fired wide again, as well as Kadlec from a similar position a couple of minutes later on the other side.
