Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba sent the same team to the field as against Opava. Libor Kozák, Filip Souček, both Ladislav Krejčí, Andreas Vindheim and Lukáš Štetina were out due to health problems. On the other hand, Lukáš Juliš was ready on the bench.
In the 4th minute, Dočkal played the free kick to Plavšić and he tried his luck from a distance. His shot missed the Liberec goal.
After two minutes Wiesner found Karabec from the left sidu. Kara was in a good position in the box. Adam prepared a ball for the shot but unfortunately his attempt was blocked by one of the defenders.
In the 18th minute Hložek headed from the penalty spot after cross by Dočkal. Unfortunately, above the Knobloch’s goal.
Six minutes later, Hancko passed to Karabec to the box and his cross shot just missed the right post.
After half an hour of play, the home team took the lead. Rondić passed to Pešek, who got through Sáček and sent the ball behind Florina Nita.
Three minutes later, Dočkal tried it from a free kick near the box. His attempt twisted over the upper left corner of the goal.
In the 38th minute, Plavšić shot through the defending player. But he missed the left post by his right hand.
At the added time, Koscelník crossed from the right side and found Rondić in the box. Fortunately, he overshot. The home team was in the one goal after the first part of the match.
In the 50th minute, Rondić found Pešek by long cross. He run to the goal and doubled the Liberec lead.
A quarter of an hour later, Pešek had another great chance after our mistake. Fortunately, he aimed only next to the the left pole.
And then came the turning point of the match. Shortly after a second conceded goal, head coach Vrba sent Juliš and Karlsson to the pitch. The second named got the ball from Sáček after a corner kick. David fired from a volley and his long-range shot ended in the net, so 1-2!
And a minute later, Hložek had more free space thanks to Juliš, and he also tried it from a distance. Hložan's shot also aimed to the goal and we equalized!
And it could have been even better. A quarter of an hour before the end, Knobloch pushed Karlsson's cross shot to the left post.
After 86 minutes, Rabušic fired in the box, Pavelka blocked his shot and Nita got to the ball. A minute later, Mosquera fired and his crossed shot missed the right post.
No more has happened and we are returning from Liberec with one point.
