Sparta as the first sports club in the Czech Republic decided to offer fans virtual videos experience! Just put on your glasses to watch 360 ° videos and you can find yourself right in the heart of the team! The first video in VR is already done and Sparta will offer it to fans as a supplement to club events
Virtual reality videos are a trend in the world, including sports. Clubs like Real Madrid or Manchester City already offer their fans Youtube content especially for virtual glasses. Now Sparta has joined these world clubs.
"One of our long-term goals is to create a content, that allows all our fans to feel as close to the players as possible. For example, the Buď v týmu series has been heading in this direction for a long time, and videos in virtual reality are another logical step on this path,” Kamil Veselý, Sparta's marketing director, says about the VR videos project.
The first video maps the day at the training camp in Bad Kleinkirchheim. Fans can visit abreakfast with the players, watch the training led by Václav Kotal and take a look behind the scenes of the preseason match. Some of our fans could see this video during Monday's Sparta Opening. "I was wondering what it would be like, I've never seen a video in virtual reality before. I didn't know what to expect from it, but it was a really huge experience. One felt that one could touch the players, like you are really in training with them," Vilém, one of the Sparta fans who saw the video on Monday, said after taking off his glasses.
Sparta plans to gradually expand its VR video portfolio and offer it to fans at club events primarily .
