Twenty-seven years old midfielder Lukáš Mareček has completed his move to KSC Lokeren from Sparta Prague. The deal was confirmed on Monday afternoon.
Lukáš Mareček started his professional career with Zbrojovka Brno but he moved to Anderlecht Brussels in 2010.
He also played for Heerenveen where he was on-loan from Belgian side. In summer 2013 he decided to come back to the Czech Republic as he signed a contract with Sparta Prague.
He was a member of the successful side in his first season with Sparta as the club won domestic double in the 2013/2014 season.
Lukáš made 150 domestic league appearances and 100 in Sparta jersey. He scored only one goal in these matches as he scored the winning goal in the 21st Round against SK Sigma Olomouc in the 2015/2016 season.
He also played 21 matches in Czech domestic cup, five matches in the Champions League Qualifying rounds and 31 matches in Europa League. He scored one goal against Krasnodar and one goal against FC Internazionale.
