In the third friendly of the training camp in Jerez, Spain, Sparta faced this year’s Europa League surprise, Bulgarian side Ludogorets Razgrad.
Sparta started with two attackers, Juliš and Bednář, but could not find the net this time. Both of them even had the first two big chances of the game, but Juliš fired wide and Bednář’s effort was well saved by the opposition’s goalkeeper Cvorovic.
On the other side, Čech had to make a brilliant save after Zlatinski’s free kick and so the match was score-less after the first half.
Another Zlatinski’s effort from a set piece was successful shortly after the halftime break and Ludogorec were leading 1-0.
Hybš could level the score with his free kick then, but he missed. Shortly before the final whistle Ludogorec could add another, but Švenger made a great save to keep the score 0-1.
