Sparta recorded their second point loss of the season so far, drawin 1-1 in Jablonec, even though they had a one goal lead fifteen minutes before the final whistle.
Petr Jiráček debuted in Sparta shirt after joining the team two weeks ago, starting on a left wing surprisingly, replacing Ladislav Krejčí.
Both defences were on top in the first half, and six thousands fans did not see many chances. David Bičík made a good save on Tecl’s redirected shot, but he didn’t really have to, as the home player was offside.
On the other side, Dočkal had a good chance after a quick passing play with Frýdek, but he missed the goal entirely. David Bičík didn’t have much work in the remaining time of the second half, even though the home team put Sparta under a pressure. Mingazov was missing one meter to reach Pospíšil’s cross and net it.
Chances finally started coming in the second half. Bičík made a stunning save and pushed Tecl’s header on the bar, on the other side, Lafata was a few centimetres short of heading in Dočkal’s cross. Jiráček then stood in a good position, but his shot was blocked by the home defence. On the other side again, Pospíšil missed Bičík’s goal by inches with his curved shot.
Finally, after 76 minutes of play, Bořek Dočkal crossed the ball from a counter attack and David Lafata gave Sparta the lead with a header.
However, the lead lasted only eight minutes for Sparta. Matěj Hybš brought down Crnkić in the box, and Wágner set the final score 1-1 from a penalty kick.
