Neither second away match in a row was successful and the goal from the first period seals the victory for Olomouc.
Zdeněk Ščasný, coach of the first team, had to solve the situation while Stanciu missing the game due to the red card recieved in Plzeň last week. Michal Sáček found his place as the central midfielder.
Both teams had hopeful situations in the first minutes of the match to score the opener. Houska's early fire was saved by Nita. On the other side, Kaya, Frýdek and Kanga tried ther luck in the scrum, but Olomouc managed to block all the attempts.
Teams struggled in the midfield in general and chances were really rare. Unfortunatelly, the another one was the key moment. In 35th minute Houska stroke out of the box and Nešpor bounced the ball slightely. Nita's effort was not enough to change the direction and Sigma took the lead.
The hosts had several chances to take a bigger lead into the break, but the score didn!t change in the rest of the first period.
Sparta had a clear task in the second period. Radaković's header didn't find the goal and Kanga's long-distance shot after sixteen minutes of the second half was saved by Buchta. The Sigma's goalkeeper was again the man of the situation few minutes later, covering Frýdek's shot.
Twenty minutes to go, Sigma had their second chance to make the lead bigger, but Nita's great save against Plšek didn't make it happen.
Golgol was called to replace Plavšić and had the biggest opportunity in the second period to equalize, but face-to-face Buchta, he didn't manage to respond.
