Sparta faced Dynamo Kyiv in 12 PM. Benjamin Tetteh opened the score in 17th minute. Dynamo had few chances by Kadar or Tsygankov but with no goal. In additional time Nico Stanciu fired from the free kick and it was 2-0 for us. After the break Tsygankov scored from the similar situation and gave a chance back to Dynamo. In 64th minute it was even worse for us. Alibekov fired from long distance and equalized.
During the match Václav Kadlec came back to pitch after really long injury from the last season. Ten minutes before the final whistle, Adam Hložek smashed the ball into the net and it was 3-2 for Sparta. Nothing more happened and have a valuable victory over Dynamo Kyiv.

Two hours after the victory over Dynamo Kiev, a completely different eleven in red jerseys ran off the pitch. Martin Hašek opened the score in 35th minute by his first goal after moving back to Sparta.
In the beginning of the second half Makhete Diop equalized from the penalty. Václav Drchal returned the lead in 56th minute and it was not the end for him. Ten minutes later young striker smashed the ball again. Six minute before the end Michal Sáček had easy position in front of empty net and scored final goal for 4-1.
