Draw in the last game

This time head coach Václav Kotal started with a 4-5-1 formation. Sáček started on the right side of the defence and Hanousek on the left. But then Čelůstka had to substitute after a collision with Hancko. Matěj Polidar went on to the pitch, Pavelka played in the defence.

Polidar started well. He tried to find Lukáš Juliš by a cross. Unfortunately, he missed the goal in a small box. Mosquera on the other side fired a cross shot from. His attempt missed the right post. Five minutes later, after a misunderstanding in the Spartan defence, Polidar lost the ball. Hilal passed to Mara, who fortunately didn't take the chance when he kicked through the goal.

In the 24^th minute, Plavšić from the wing sent a great ball to a small box, but there was no one in the red. Shortly afterwards, Kačaraba fouled Hancko in the box and the referee ordered a penalty after watching the video. Bořek Dočkal took the ball but goalkeeper Nguyen stopped his shot.

In the 29^th minute, Pešek had a great chance. Florin Nita stopped his shot by head. After that, he fell on the pitch and held the ball in his arms. Despite the fact, that he was on the ground for a long time, referee Marek did not stop the game. Michal Sáček thought that the game was stopped, took the ball by hands and the referee ordered a penalty. Kamso Mara scored.

Andreas Vindheim was in action twice during a minute before the break. At first, he found Juliš by his cross. A moment later, his shooting cross was kicked out by Nguyen.

In the added time, Matěj Polidar tried to find the best shooter of the league by the cross from the left. Juliš would finish in an empty goal but just before him the ball was stopped by the defender of Liberec. So 0-1 in the half-time.

Three minutes after the break, Souček crossed from the left side, Kačaraba did not kick away the ball and Juliš levelled by his header. The top scorer of the league scored the tenth league goal of the season.

After an hour of play, Jugas headed. Nita caught his attempt. On the other side Hanousek run, passed to Polidar and he tried to find one of his teammates in the box. But the ball ended in Nguyen’s hands. Shortly after that, Plavšić was looking for Juliš but the ball was stopped by Liberec defence.

Just before the end came another great chance for Sparta. Karlsson shot but Nguyen stopped te shot near the right post. But the guests could also hit. Mosquera passed to Rabušic and he did not finish in good position. Sparta drew 1-1 in the last duel of the year 2020.
