Captain Bořek Dočkal returned to the basic line-up. Adam Hložek moved to the left side of the middle formation. Matěj Polidar operated on the left side of the defense, Dávid Hancko played a centre-back. Souček, Krejčí, Krejčí Vindheim, Štetina and Kozák were out due to health reasons.
Sparta had her first chance in the seventh minute. Karlsson fired in the box and his shot ended next to the right post.
In the twelfth minute, Hložek shot in front of the box. The defenders blocked his attempt. Subsequently, Pavelka fired next to the right post.
In the 29th minute, Pavelka tried it from a distance. Unfortunately, his cross shot missed Laštůvka's goal.
Juliš's huge chance came right after that. He got a ball from Karlsson close to the penalty spot. But Laštůvka stopped his shot.
The guests first chance came in the 36th minute. Fleišman fired from a distance, but his attempt ended in Florin Nita hands.
Immediately after, Sparta went to the lead. Karlsson passed to Dočkal in the box, he got near the goal line, Laštůvka went out of the goal and Bořek returned the ball to DMK. He then fired through the defenders and sent us to the lead.
In the 39th minute came another chance for Sparta. Juliš fired in the box, but Laštůvka saved.
And Sparta did not slow down. Two minutes later, Dočkal sent DMK forward by a chop ball. But Laštůvka run and headed the ball off.
So, it was 1-0 for us after the first half.
In the 65th minute, Sáček went with the ball near the box and passed to Dočkal. He fired off the three posts.
Immediately, after that, De Azevedo found David Buchta in the box and he equalized by a half-high shot near the back post.
Twenty minutes before the end, Karabec tried to find his teammates from a free kick. But Baník's defence headed to the corner.
A minute later, Hložek run to Laštůvka’s goal from the right wing. He tried to finish near the right post but unfortunately missed.
Ten minutes before the end, the captain took advantage of the collisions of Ostrava centre-backs. He run to Laštůvka, chopped him and the ball ended in the empty goal.
In the 88th minute, Bořek sent Hložek ahead, he run through Baník centre-backs and increased our lead.
Sparta defeated Baník 3-1 and is in the good mood before Wednesday's match with Pilsen.
