Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba made only one change in the line-up compared to Thursday's match with Lyon. Michal Sáček was replaced by captain Bořek Dočkal.
The guests had the first opportunity in the 4th minute. Hlavatý got in the box and Nita kicked his attempt.
Three minutes later, Pavelka sent a perfect pass to Wiesner. His cross shot missed the left post. In the 8th minute, Haraslín passed and Pešek aimed just next to the right post.
In the 25th minute, Dočkal sent Wiesner forward, he passed to Pešek. He didn’t get to the ball and Minchev did not get a ball through the wall of players! Such a pitty!
In the 29th minute, Boleslav had a chance. Ewerton fired from a great distance and hit the bar!

Five minutes before the end, all the saints were with us. After Jurásek's shot, Fila aimed to our goal and the ball bounced off the post! Immediately after, Pulkrab headed after the cross from the left but goalie stopped the attempt. In the 88th minute, Skalák's cross shot flew just next to the right post.
In the added time, Pešek crossed from the right, Pulkrab headed to the post, but Hložek quickly got to the ball and gave us a victory!
Sparta defeated Mladá Boleslav 1-0 and took advantage of Slavia's draw. Florin Nita has the sixth clean sheet in the season and leads the goalkeeper statistics of the league.
