Sparta re-entered the league with a match against SK Dynamo České Budějovice. The spectators did not see a lot of serious opportunities. The only goal of the match was scored in the seventeenth minute by Veljko Birmančević. After winning 1:0, Sparta returned to the top of the Czech league table.
